The Cyclery Servi-Car Box Seat PadsIn 1932, still in times of the Great Depression, Harley-Davidson began production of the Servi-Car. Production did not end until 1973. These motorized three-wheelers were also intended for the automotive service industry, because in the 1930s, workshop service included the delivery of repaired cars to the valued customers. If the Servi-Car was not tow-bar-equipped, this service required two people. One colleague drove the customer's car and the other one followed on the Servi-Car to bring both back to the workshop. The passenger usually sat on the sheet steel box instead of on a seat of his own. The Factory provided generously padded seat pads for the box to increase the passenger's comfort. We offer the pads in a version with magnetic mounting strips that does not require drilling holes into the box lid, and in a screw-on version. If your box hasn't the mounting holes anyway a drill job is required. more …

Wrecking Crew T-Shirt Grim ReaperWrecking Crew T-Shirt Artist Edition #3:Jeral Tidwell: "Grim Reaper" His artworks adorn skateboard decks, concert posters and canvases. He designs food labels, HotRod paintwork and children's books, among other things: Jeral "Artboy" Tidwell, California born in 1969, preferred drawing to talking when a child and obviously absorbed all the influences that came his way from the day he was born, from Art Nouveau artists like Alphonse Mucha to graphic legends like Ed "Rat Fink" Roth - we’re stoked that Jeral agreed to design the third "Artist T-Shirt" exclusively for the Wrecking Crew: "Grim Reaper", the personified scythe wielding Death on a chopper from hell. Where did that idea come from? According to Jeral: "... what you see here comes from my soul ... and a few other places I probably shouldn't mention ... ". We assume the rib cage tank on the front of the T-shirt also emerged from one of these dark places.Check out Jeral's art: The next motifs are already in the pipeline being sketched, sprayed, pinstriped, crocheted, welded, what have you ... more …

Daytona USB Type C Single Port ChargerMore and more bikers are using their cell phones as navigation devices — thanks to Google Maps. Nobody worries about permanent transmission of location data 'cos after all, you have a flat rate with 50 Mbit/s of download speed. But one thing is clear: using your smartphone as a sat nav permanently drains the phone's battery and can work effectively only if you hook it to a charger on your Harley. For all those who do not own a FLHTCU with a built-in USB port, this practical USB socket could be used to charge the cell phone. The socket is waterproof (as long as not in use!) and is mounted on the handlebars, the 12V/5V voltage converter and the 12V supply cable can be tucked away under the gas tank. Connection options are available at the battery terminals or on live wires — haha — via the supplied connectors.Of course, the socket also charges the smartphone if it does not have to work as a navigation system. more …

Crankcase Main Bearings Left 1912-1916 TwinsFor the first years of heavy weight big twins (988 cc/ 60.3 cuin) the factory chose tu use a metric bearing. To compensate for minor production irregularities, they used a so-called double-row self-aligning ball bearing. The dimensions of 25 x 62 x 17 mm seem familiar to someone who feels at home in dealing with inches and feet. But these dimensions are just the tiny bit off of common inch fractures.
